Note | H. G. Little built the Italianate house at the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and Park Street in the late 1850s. A group of Grinnell College trustees later purchased the house to serve as the college president's home, and Little built a new house at 1127 Park Street (no longer standing). Many Little daughters married local dignitaries. |
