Note | The house was built in 1868 for C. W. Hobart, a lumber man, a Union soldier in the 46th Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and a local musician. Hobart Street is named for him. Other owners included George and Minnie Clifton and their daughters, Lois Meacham and Elizabeth Wood. The house was later divided into apartments. |
