Jack Waterbeck, fourth from the left holding plaque, after winning the 1953 two-row division Iowa corn picking contest. The contest was held in a field north of Blairstown and was sponsored by WMT Radio. Mr. Waterbeck had a new International Harvester corn picker on an International Harvester Super MTA tractor. Mr. Waterbeck, from Hartwick, Iowa, went on to take third place nationally.

Contains tables for records of livestock production, dairy sales, egg sales, livestock sales of animals raised and bought, purchases of livestock, crop sales, miscellaneous receipts, machinery bought and sold, farm expenses, net income statement, inventories of feed and seed, inventories of livestock, net worth, and crop record and map. Summaries can be used as the basis for filing income tax returns.
