Grinnell City Council voted Monday night to end center street parking on a 2-block stretch of Broad Street between Fifth Avenue and Commercial. The center of the 2-block stretch of Broad Street has been used for parking for about 12 years." A handwritten date of April 14, 1961, has been added.
