Looking northeast at a four-story brick and stone building founded by Father Joseph Kuemper as the St. Angela Domestic Science Institute in 1908, an all-girls boarding high school in Carroll, Iowa, to educate young women in the art of Christian homemaking. The school was later renamed the St. Angela Academy and closed in 1954. Soon after Father Leo Lenz led the effort to building a regional Catholic high school and a large addition was constructed and attached to the west side of the St. Angela building. The Kuemper Catholic School is located at 198 South East Street, Carroll, Carroll County, Iowa.

The chapel measures 12' by 16', has a complete miniature altar and four pews each seating two people.The purpose of the church was to accommodate two families.
