The name of the church was changed to Second Presbyterian Church in 1868 and the original structure was expanded and remodeled. The new church was moved to 1285 3rd Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa, was built by Charles Bolton of Philadelphia, and was renamed Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Magdalene Tower of Westminster was modeled after the tower at Oxford College, England. Number 22212.
