Title: Parade of automobiles, Coin, Iowa
Description: Looking northeast at several automobiles lined up on Main Street. Coin was platted in 1879. The buildings were constructed entirely of wood, and the north side of Main Street burned down completely at the turn of the century. The buildings were soon replaced with red brick. 1915 postmark. Title supplied by cataloger.

Title: Peter Hatterscheid's Elevators, Corwith, Iowa
Description: Looking at farmers unloading grain at a new grain elevator. Peter Hatterscheid built the elevator in 1914 at an estimated $6,000. It was purchased at a public sale by The Farmers Grain Company three years later for a price of $16,400.
