Looking north at the front of Cooper School which was built in 1889 and named in honor of Colonel S.F. Cooper, one of the first teachers in Grinnell who was also a Commandant of the Grinnell Troops in the Civil War. The building was closed in 1974 and sold to Grinnell College. The building was was razed in 1983. 1915 postmark.

Looking east on Edgington Avenue with the Newcomer Building on the left. Looking southeast at the three-story brick Wisner Building built in 1912 by Reed & Stern from St. Paul, Minnesota. The building was named after Gilman H. Wisner and it held the H.W. Emeny Auto Company. Looking northwest at The First National Bank built in 1917 by Proudfoot, Bird and Rawson from Des Moines. Looking east on Fourteenth Avenue witht he Eldora Public Library on the right built in 1903 by Patton and Miller, Chicago, Illinois. The Methodist Episcopal Church is shown in the background. 1923 postmark. Number 592.
