A view of a large mausoleum in a Monroe cemetery. This may be a mausoleum that was erected in this cemetery for $22,000 on land purchased from the proprietors. It was completed in 1909 and has 250 crypts. The price per crypt was $100, but Mr. Maytag from Newton, Iowa, came into possession of the structure and raised the price to $125 per crypt. The mausoleum was lined with pure white, polished marble.
