Looking northeast on Edgington Avenue from left to right: the Newcomer Building, built in 1911, named after Jay Newcomer, housed the Eureka Café owned by Louis Darze from 1927-1946; the Larson Building, built in 1915, housed the City Meat Market owned by C.E. Hough; Marks Drug Store open from 1928 to 1987; Burrows Clothier; Citizens State Bank opened in 1902; the Pythian Building, built in 1914, housed the Grant Theatre which opened in 1914. There is also a sign flying above the street which says IOOF Minstrels. 1941 postmark. Number 254.
