Ken Benda is behind the counter; the customers are Ellery Vermace, Godfrey Veit, Oscar Hakeman, and Cecil Creps. Hartwick State Bank was founded in 1927 by Ben Roudabush. After World War II, Kenneth and Lucille Roudabush Benda assumed control of the bank. In 2017 Hartwick State Bank was purchased by County Bank.
