The hospital was built as a home in 1875. The original builder used the building as a saloon before it became a hotel known as the "Stephenson House". Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 1907 postmark. Dr. C. D. Busby purchased the hotel and made it not only his residence but also turned it into a hospital. He later closed the hospital, but continued to live there. It was later used again as a hotel and restaurant. Located at 154 West Front Street, Brooklyn, Poweshiek County, Iowa

Looking northeast at the post office and several businesses along Main Street in Dunkerton, Iowa. In 1853, two brothers, James and John Dunkerton, walked from Dubuque, Iowa, to stake out a claim of land near Lester. This claim became the town known as Lesterton, and later Dunkerton. 1909 postmark.

Looking west on residential street at single story wooden church with steeple erected in 1882. In 1881 two lots on the corner of east Grove (initially named Residence Street) and Fourth streets were purchased from J. C. Myers for $100. In 1910, Free Will Baptists consolidated with the Baptists, and the church became First Baptist Church. In 1914, a basement was dug and the church underwent a remodel. Located at 304 Grove Street, Fairbank, Buchanan County, Iowa. 1909 postmark.
