Looking southeast at the north corner. Designed by Cedar Rapids architectural firm of Josselyn & Taylor and built in 1908 of limestone, brick, stucco and copper, this eight story brick building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Cedar Rapids "Sunday Republican" for 12 April 1908 described this structure as the "first absolutely fireproof, steel framework, reenforced concrete structure" in Cedar Rapids, and "one of the city's notable achievements this year". Located at 201 Second Street SE, Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa. 1910 postmark. Number 44.
