Matthias and Son, it became the Artesian Cooperative Creamery Co., in 1890 when 33 area farmers purchased the business from Mathias. this one-story stone building with large smokestack was located on US Highway 63. Two story stucco building with front porch. The F.F. Moeller General Store was founded in 1900 by Fred F. Moeller and torn down in the 1980s as part of a US 63 highway shoulder-widening project in Bremer and Chickasaw counties. Number 2.
